GEICO Labor Union Employees
A union for Geico’s Region 4 Employees
Please take a few moments of your time to sign the union support survey! We are so close to the end and one of the last steps before union cards is to understand how many people are supportive of this effort. Do you part by filling out the survey for GLUE purposes only, your info will not be shared with GEICO management in any way!
WHY ARE WE FIGHTING TO UNIONIZE??
- A union ensures fair/equal treatment by management.
- A union is an elected group of your coworkers who meet with management to get agreements in a legally binding contract.
- A union ensures help with a violation of your rights on the job.
- A union is a group of coworkers who meet and discuss how to improve conditions.
- A union is coworkers working together for improving pay, benefits and a collective voice on the job.
- Union dues are decided and voted on by your coworkers at the time of the 1st union contract.
About Us here at GLUE
GEICO Labor Union Employees originated out of GEICO employees' frustration with the changes made by GEICO management/supervisors and CEO that directly affect our pay, benefits, workload, hours and work/life balance.
We have now grown large enough to fight for a union. We meet regularly and are excited to grow our team to get a union for:
*increase in wages
*have a voice in changes in the working conditions
*get our rights in a legally binding union contract

How will GEICO react to us unionizing?
OPEIU has great info on how employers will react. Read more here.
The good news is that even though many times management says our relationships with our supervisors and voices will get worse, the actual facts show they do quite the opposite. It’s time to allow our expertise and knowledge in our experience get pushed to create better and more efficient ways for us to do our tasks, and not management. We deal with these customers day to day, not them.

Don’t have social media? That’s okay! The most important thing to do is gain support.
What does that look like? Talking to co-workers, fill out the work from home petition, below or above is the link.
If you’re still unconvinced, just remember. Todd laid off 2,000 people, even though he claims we have still been profitable.
